A simple pair of glasses or a basic jacket that always works is worth a lot. I like when a shop clearly shows PD, lens height and bridge width in millimeters. Nose pads that are too hard leave marks and feel uncomfortable on the skin. Sometimes customer service can fix a bad experience, but not always. Good packaging and a small storage bag are also nice touches for accessories.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

I prefer simple designs that do not depend only on heavy filters in the pictures. When I test a new shop I usually start with one or two items instead of a huge order. Each material has advantages and disadvantages depending on season and activity. Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. I like when a shop clearly shows PD, lens height and bridge width in millimeters.
Hope this helps someone. |
