I am growing out my natural gray after many years of coloring and the changing contrast is making some dependable clothes look unfamiliar near my face. I want to observe the transition patiently while continuing to use most of what I own. Deep denim is still easy to wear, but a few warm beige and brown tops now seem disconnected from the cooler hair around my temples. I am trying not to make permanent purchases from a changing appearance, especially because the dyed lengths will remain for quite a while. I have been reading this personal color analysis to separate gradual observations from an impulse to buy new clothes. Could I start with scarves in two neutrals and one accent, and should I then wait until more natural hair has grown before changing larger pieces? I am open to using existing accessories during the transition. I would value a low-purchase plan from anyone who has grown out gray. |
