I spent Saturday reviewing the darker pieces already in my wardrobe. At first I assumed that I should simply choose Deep Winter. On some days charcoal looks polished while very black tops sometimes make my face look tired. I tried looking at how navy, espresso, gray, and muted plum changed my complexion. The notes made me question whether one label could explain everything. When I wanted a second way to compare, I used this color analysis since it suggested questions instead of declaring one fixed result. I am beginning to test a softer dark range, then keeping only the strongest colors that still feel natural. I would be interested if others have used daylight comparisons to separate two nearby seasonal palettes? I am deliberately leaving bright lipstick, dramatic jewelry, and online quizzes out of this first comparison. Those may be useful later, but right now I only need a repeatable view of familiar clothing in ordinary daylight. A few careful notes feel more useful than a dramatic makeover or a rushed decision about every future purchase. |
