I joined a small listening club that compares ordinary headphones with simple spectrogram views, and we recently noticed a few unusual streaks in AI-generated music. We are not trying to diagnose every mark as a problem. Instead, we want to learn which visual details deserve another careful listen. I found this workflow note while searching for explanations that do not promise certainty. It helped me frame the image as one clue rather than a verdict. I usually play a short section first, then inspect the same place on the display. The comparison habit should stay practical. Each targeted observation needs an audible reason. I compare separate passages before drawing conclusions. The process remains clear for new members. A focused listen can prevent us from chasing an imaginary issue. We keep simple notes about what we actually heard. The group should remain welcoming. Our examples need to stay ordinary. Every small observation remains possible to revisit. I keep that note useful for discussion. I would rather ask a question than claim certainty from one picture. How did you learn to connect what you hear with what you see without turning the display into a shortcut? I would welcome beginner-friendly tips.
