Warm earthy shades look promising in the clothes I already own. That impression could be about personal taste rather than what suits my face, so I want to check it more carefully. I'd like to test one accent alongside two everyday neutrals first. Olive, camel, and rust are easy to find secondhand near me. I can compare them in natural light before spending money, ideally with the colors next to my face rather than laid out on a screen. I also want to see how each shade works with the clothes I actually wear. While researching what is my color palette I found several labels, but I would prefer a small real-world test over memorizing every category. Would you begin with neutrals or a more obvious accent? Taking a few notes may stop me forgetting which shade worked better. The goal is a handful of pieces I will use repeatedly. A practical result matters more to me than a precise season name.
