UC Davis Health has launched a brand new program that displays patients with high blood stress at residence. To assist this initiative, the well being system is working with Best Buy Health’s care-at-home platform, Current Health. Patients will use connected devices including blood strain cuffs and scales. Readings from the devices can be sent to the present Health platform and also transferred to the patient’s UC Davis Health digital medical chart. All readings sent from the patient’s dwelling could be accessed by the UC Davis Health Connected Care Center in real time. At the UC Davis Connected Care Center, a workforce that features a physician, pharmacist, registered nurse and medical assistant will reply. They will work with patients to maintain their blood pressure within a wholesome range. "Nearly half of the adults within the United States have hypertension. This leads to 145 million emergency division visits throughout the U.S. " said David Lubarsky, vice chancellor of human health sciences and CEO of UC Davis Health.
