I do not trust only the star rating, I like to see detailed photos and longer comments. Forums, blogs and communities create a kind of collective memory for shoppers. Good stitching usually means the item will not fall apart after one or two washes.If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

If the first order goes well, I slowly try more products from the same place. When every picture has different colors or extreme filters, it is usually a bad sign. I do not trust only the star rating, I like to see detailed photos and longer comments. If buyers say the item runs small or large, I always adjust my choice accordingly. I try to look for real photos of the insoles and soles, not only the outside of the shoe. Sometimes a store looks great in ads but the real product is completely different. Trendy pieces are fun, but I only buy them when the price is reasonable.
